President Trump declined to say Friday whether he supports Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, who has been overseeing Robert Mueller’s special counsel investigation.

Trump’s remarks came just minutes after he authorized the release of a controversial memo authored by House Intelligence Committee chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.).

“You figure that one out,” Trump told reporters, when asked if he has confidence in Rosenstein.

This is a no-brainer.  OF COURSE, Trump has full confidence in him!

After all, Trump nominated Rosenstein, and he promised "only the best"!

I hope Sessions goes with him.

Trump has way, way, too much faith in his own charms. Trump hires and depends on people who are working against him because he believes that with "the art of the deal" he can win them over to his side somehow.

Trump needs to get real. These people hate him. And just like the Dems at the SOTU, they will never support him no matter what he does. He needs to embrace that fact, and inculcate it into his thick skull.

I've been saying he needs to fire Rosenstein for months and couldn't believe he actually selected him.  Gee ... if he himself actually vetted Rosenstein, it should have been obvious that Rosenstein is corrupt.  Secondly, he worked under both Clinton and Bammy  ... so Mr. President, what was your first clue?  I wonder who advised him to appoint Rosenstein?  My hunch is probably his weasel son-in-law, Kushner.

He needs to get rid of Sessions and Mueller also and if he's smart he'll show his son-in-law and daughter the door!

Like it or not, it caused Sessions to recuse. Trump probably erred badly by appointing Rosenstein.

Trump fired Comey, making it far more difficult politically to continue firing his enemies.

Mueller's "investigation," is premised on fraudulent information.

Rosenstein and Mueller should resign, admitting the whole thing was a mistake.

Rosenstein himself signed at least one FISA application. In doing so he failed to inform himself of the fraudulent basis for same.

Based on what we saw today, the attorney General needs to direct the campaign collusion investigation to the DNC as this shows they were the ones working with foreign agents.

In a moral sense, Trump could fire everybody involved. But in a political sense, completing the investigations with findings favorable to Trump, would be the best.

I heard Mueller has postponed sentencing Flynn, on the basis the entire thing is a frame up, built on a house of false cards.

Trump has had every right to fire Rosenstein and Mueller for months and has refused to do it because members of his own party (Limpy Graham, et., al) have told him that it would be political suicide!

I think he would be justified but he's doesnt need too.   Any possible prosecution of him is tarnished and in the two guilty pleas should probably be tossed out.

All he has to do now is sit back and eat his popcorn.

You can't mean Sessions. Sessions will never do a goddam thing about anything. The only way you can get Sessions attention is to smoke pot. Things like obstruction of justice, fake investigations, collusion, spying, etc., do not interest him at all.
