Why shocked?  Ed could find one fly in a gallon of ointment.

Kasich is a mixed bag.  He's not the villain some make him out to be, but he's got some pretty far left ideas at times.

No matter, it's a waste of time for Trump to bash him.

But Trump spends a heck of a lot of time bashing when his feelings get hurt.

He is a bit touchy.

If it wasn't for Kasich, Cruz would have beat Trump.

Yeah, in a world of fairies and magic bunnies Cruz would have beaten Trump.

But since we live in this world, I guess we’ll never know.

Cruz is about as charismatic as a carrot. He would have not won PA and some other states.

:bs:  Kasich is quietly mounting a challenge to the President in 2020.

Besides, the President does not suffer fools gladly and Kasich has earned all the "trashing" that comes his way.

It comes off as Trump and his supporters being unable to let go of the 201t6 election.  They aren't satisfied with winning the last election.  They have to continue beating the loser(s) down to a pulp.

Again, it's a waste of time and effort.  Should Kasich be a candidate in 2020, Trump can speak out against him then.  But why go after Kasich now?  Focus on the present.  We have some real, more immediate enemies to deal with.

You're right, but Trump is hardly alone in not being able to let things go.

I wish he would be more un-Trump but, hey.

Is this all Trump knows how to do -- pick a target and constantly ridicule it?  I don't like Kasich's politics either, but really, why is Trump wasting time and energy going after him?  Kasich is really no threat to him.   Just ignore him.

I should think the President of the United States would have far more important things to be concerned about -- North Korea, for example -- than the Governor of Ohio.

Obviously, this is not all Trump knows to do.  He has done a ton of good in his first year, and I believe he is concerned about North Korea.

Another obviously, is that Trump can be petty at times.

Hah. Some people think our weather here is boring.  It's winter now and it's always a high of 80 and a low of about 66.  Summer is maybe 8 to 10 degrees hotter.

The fact that Kasich dropped out of the Presidential campaign immediately after Cruz was quite telling.  Kasich had no chance of winning at that point but he did serve to detract from Cruz.

Yes, I remember the same all too wall. Soon Kasich will be stepping down as governor and I only hope that he leaves politics. If he wants to stay in politics hopefully he'll run as the DEM that he truly is.

Unusually mild winter so far. Unfortunately little/no rain, to date.

I live on the Atlantic side in the deep south.  Right now we have beautiful sunny skies and a very pleasant 78 degrees.  I been lovin' this weather for 25 years and haven't gotten bored of it yet.

Trump reportedly made fun of Kasich and referred to the Ohio governor as one of his loudest and most relentless critics.

Apparently Trump isn't a TBR member.

I'm sure he still has some resentment about Ted Cruz, but Ted has pretty much supported him, whereas Kasich is still taking digs at him.

Anyone who is openly mounting a challenge against Donny is a threat. Now is the time to stigmatize him and insure his irrelevance before he starts raising money and getting a campaign started.

Good to see some common sense displayed here.   888high58888

Kasich has almost no chance.  He is so boring that I constantly muted him during the debates.
