House Intel votes to make Nunes memo public

The House Intelligence Committee on Monday evening voted to make public a GOP-crafted memo alleging what some Republicans say are “shocking” surveillance abuses at the Department of Justice (DOJ).

The move ends weeks of speculation over whether the memo, which was drafted by staff for chairman Devin Nunes (R-Calif.), would be made public. But it intensifies the dispute over what Democrats say is an all-out assault by Republicans to undermine special counsel Robert Mueller’s probe into Russian interference in the 2016 election.

The document will not be immediately released. Under the arcane House rule Republicans used to override the classification of the four-page memo, President Trump now has five days to review and reject its publication.

Oh, the frownie faces on CNN and MSNBC are delicious! :beer:

CNN furrowed brows, hands waving in the air. Wowser, some CNN woman is hoping for the DOJ and FBI to step in and stop the release.

I just missed Sheila JACKson Lee on MSNBC who I believe predicted the demise of the FBI at Trump's hand.

Not without following the same process as the Majority memo.  They DID vote to allowing for House only viewing, which  Schiff refused to point out.

So that’s why he appeared so gleeful and sneaky while saying all this.  The man’s eyes were shining with happiness while he pulled a sad face.  He seemed evil to me.

Read that the Dem memo is about slandering Nunes to make him appear nuts.  Adding a bunch of unrelated classified stuff to it to get it heavily redacted to make it look all official which will be good enough to get the stupid MSM on board.  Schiff is playing games.

Also read that two other FBI guys looked at the Pub memo and said there is nothing that can be claimed non-factual in it.  Supposedly Pub memo is about McCabe and the Form 302 changes.  Will be interesting to see exactly what is in both memos.
