"Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, on Wednesday said Republicans needed to “finish the job†on repealing and replacing Obamacare in 2018, and he is pushing his colleagues to use one last reconciliation bill before the midterms to deliver on their long-running promise."
Strong point being made by Senator Cruz.
IF -- and it's a mighty big "if" -- the Pubbies can get things together, and this time push through an obamacare bill (it doesn't have to be "full" repeal, but must be substantial in dismantling many of the principles set forth by obamacare) -- they have a chance to swing the 2018 elections their way, by retaining the "white electoral edge" that lifted Mr. Trump (and the rest of the Republicans) to victory in 2016.
The triumphant tax reform bill of 2017 proved that such victories are possible.
I hope Trump "keeps the pressure up" on Congress to get something done...
