Again, this admission by Clapper entirely undercuts the ridiculous NYT prior defense where they attempt to put George Papadopoulos as the centerpiece to the origin of the FBI counterintelligence operation.

There's a lot Clapper didn't know in the DC politics.  He should have stuck to Geospatial Data.

 He had not heard of Papadopoulos because he was a nobody in the campaign. However, anything Clapper ever says is suspect. You have to remember this from last March concerning the Trump FISA order.

“I can deny it,” Clapper said, much to the host’s surprise.

“There is no FISA court order?” Todd responded.

“Not to my knowledge,” Clapper said.
