Top UN officials to visit Chicago to address violence problem

Top United Nations officials will be coming to Chicago to address violence in the city.

It comes after Cook County Commissioner Richard Boykin had a meeting with U.N. officials in New York on Thursday.

The purpose of Boykin's trip was a desperate plea for help to stop violence in Chicago.

Boykin met with the U.N.'s assistant secretary-general for peace-building support.

He calls the violence in Chicago a, "quiet genocide" in the city's black community and he appealed to the U.N. because it’s trained in keeping the peace.
There is no word on exactly what they'll be doing when they get to the city.

Boykin went on to say that he can't wait for Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel to put another 1,000 police officers on the streets and he doesn't know if that's the solution anyway.

Oh, that's certainly going to help. The UN is very skilled at blaming people who have nothing to do with the problem.

Well, the UN tends to be far more efficient at such things, roasting kids over fires, rape, and they have better machine guns, too.

But who invited this foreign government onto American soil, and did he even talk with the US Government?

No one did.  The Councilman took it upon himself to go to NYC to the UN to meet with and ask for the help of the Blue Helmets.

Inviting a foreign Military force to survey American soil? Isn't there a law against that? (I consider the UN hostile at this point).

I give you Somalia and Bosnia as exhibits A&B as tho how effective the U.N. is at keeping the "peace".

Set Free Gubberment drug kiosks on all the corners. Free Opioids. Crack.... What every they want.   Get them so effed up they just OD and not kill each other.  Stack the bodies high as cord wood.  Haul em away in the spring before the 1st big thaw.

Here's a thought: Maybe Chicago politicians should stop pandering to activists and special interest groups and actually do their jobs. It's their job to fix the problem. Do what you're paid to do.

You are exactly correct. And when they run out of other people's money, those of us with lead  supplies and food supplies will win. Not that I have either. Terrible, terrible SCUBA diving accident and we lost it all.
