What vote did they lose?  Laws against discrimination extend to sexual orientation in Colorado.  That's the law, as passed by Coloradans' elected representatives.  Now Phillips says he can ignore the community.   The community objects -  hence the lawsuit.  We'll see who wins.

Well the gays do know drama dont they but alas in this case it is they who seek force acceptance of their abnormal lifestyle on the rest of the world.

Since our founding as a country, the term wedding cake has always meant a cake used in celebration of marriage between a man and a woman.  The radical gays have managed to redefine the legal meaning through a series of activist judges.  Now they are using that hammer to pummel all dissent into the ground.  You have no respect for anyone else but demand that we not only accept your abnormal behavior but endorse it as better than what is normal and healthy.

He did not refuse them service. He refused to support their political belief. It was pure entrapment. The same baker would have turned down a same-sex wedding cake for a straight couple.

It would be like a Muslim baker turning down a cake for an anti-Muslim function. Muslim bakers turn down same sex wedding cakes all the time. Gays just know it would be politically inconvenient to sue them for it. They would lose gravitas. So they only choose white Christian bakers to make their political statement.
