Time releases 'commemorative issue' for Playboy founder Hugh Hefner. -- WHY?

By James Lambert

As I was rounding the aisles in a local store near home the other day, I was stunned to see that Time Magazine just released a special commemorative issue featuring Hugh Hefner. The release of this magazine demonstrates an attempt to celebrate the life of someone who, in my opinion, contributed to the serious degradation of our culture.

Newsweek also put out a commemorative issue for Hef.  And this month's Playboy has Hef's picture on the cover rather than the usual bunny.

To be fair, Playboy hardly constitutes "pornography".   For that,  turn to Penthouse and its kinky letters section and Hustler with its gynecological view of feminine beauty.   Of course, the internet has made them all obsolete, along with X-rated bookstores and theaters.

Because he helped normalize perversity, so guys like Kevin Spacey can attempt to molest children and just laugh and shrug about it.

That's a MAJOR accomplishment for those that worship at the altars of Sodom and Gomorrah.

1. Trump is never wrong.
2. Default to the most puerile emoticon you can find. This is especially useful when you can't win an argument on merits.
3. Be falsely ingratiating, completely but politely dismissive without talking to the points, and bring up Hillary whenever the conversation is really about conservatism.
4. When all else fails, remember rule #1 and #2. Emoticons are like the poor man's tweet!

That's simply ridiculous.

Q: What's the difference between Time Magazine and Playboy?

A: Some people actually read Playboy for the articles.
"The most terrifying force of death, comes from the hands of Men who wanted to be left Alone. They try, so very hard, to mind their own business and provide for themselves and those they love. They resist every impulse to fight back, knowing the forced and permanent change of life that will come from it. They know, that the moment they fight back, their lives as they have lived them, are over. -Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Don't get into it with him too much. He's very combative.

Anyway, I saw a commemorative issue for Glen Campbell at the store the other day. I guess one can argue they just do this for money. Yes, I can see how in a sense, Hef. was an important historical figure.

As the last paragraph of the editorial says, if Time-Life is interested in women's rights, Hef sure didn't epitomize this value.

And it sure turns me off to other commemorative issues they may do, it be for Prince or whomever.  This shows, it's about making bucks.

Hefner has been a bit of a hot potato topic here, I hope no one gets worked up about it but the editorial was a bit too good imho, to pass up.

How does a magazine that shows womens' breasts encourage homosexuals to molest underage boys?    Sometimes a post is so patently ridiculous that there's little more to be said.

So, in case you haven't noticed, a vast part liberal agenda has been geared towards loosening moral standards in our society since the 1960s. We've now gotten to a point where "slut walks" are an actual thing. The natural extension of that, of course, has been the incorporation of homosexuality in EVERYTHING. I don't think a comic book, TV, or movie script is written these days without a frank discussion of who the gay character will be and how much more sophisticated, or kind, or self-sacrificing that character should be relative to the heteros.

But seriously, if you haven't been aware of the moral decline in this country, which was founded in the "sexual revolution" which Playboy promoted, then you probably aren't even aware that Playboy is now bringing in transgendered "playmates." Yeah, seriously. The cross-section in the world of moral depravity is all derived around notion of "do what you want... whatever feels good... don't judge."

Again - very difficult concepts for you to grasp, apparently, as you actually think the notion that libtards would exalt the achievements of someone like Hefner are that far removed from the general moral relatively they inject into everything.
