Melania Trump is embracing a more active and public schedule as first lady – but she still runs one of the leanest East Wing operations in recent history.

According to a Fox News analysis of White House personnel reports, Melania Trump has significantly reduced the number of aides on the first lady's office payroll in comparison to her predecessor, Michelle Obama.

During then-President Barack Obama’s first year in office, 16 people were listed working for Michelle Obama, earning a combined $1.24 million a year.

The Obamas were famous for squandering our tax dollars on their own needs.  Needs, hell.  More like desires.   I guess you would call that "reparations." 

Really, why would a First Lady need so many "aides?"  A secretary or two should be more than enough.

Did ya happen to notice that during Obama's regime of eight long years, it seemed almost every other month, the Obamas, or Moochelle and her two daughters, were taking lavish vacations around the world, of course on the taxpayer dime. And the liberal media fawned all over them every step of the way.

I don't recall in the past year one liberal media article on an Obama vacation around the world. Perhaps i missed one, but the bottom line is now that the Obamas have to pay for their own lavish vacations, they aren't taking any. Typical socialists who love spending other people's money and not their own.

I agree with ya that the Republican Party isn't trying hard enough to rein in the debt. But at least they aren't on spending steroids like the Democratic Party would be if Crooked Hillary had won.
