Trump warns McCain: 'At some point I fight back, and it won't be pretty'
By Max Greenwood - 10/17/17 11:16 AM EDT

President Trump warned on Tuesday that he would "fight back" after Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) delivered a blunt denunciation of nationalist forces that was seen by many as a thinly veiled attack on the president.

"People have to careful, because at some point I fight back," Trump told WMAL radio host Chris Plante. "I'm being very nice. I'm being very, very nice. But at some point I fight back, and it won't be pretty."

McCain responded to Trump's comments moments later, saying that he has "faced far greater challenges than this," according to CNN.

McCain needs to spend some time getting right with the Lord .... instead of spewing his hate for America.

John McCain, obsessed with playing the 'POW' card. He did his duty with honor, there is no question of that. But the fact that he keeps bringing it up to use it as a shield, detracts from the respect he would otherwise get.

Most real heroes that I know, never mention it. To talk about it, takes away from the experience somehow.

And I certainly agree that McCain's time would be much better spent with his family, than screwing around with Trump and worrying about legislation that should be meaningless to him, since he will not be around to see how it all plays out.

I believe that McCain doesn't want to step down because by doing so he would have to face the reality of his situation. He is in denial. He believes that if everything is normal, and he goes to work every day, and such like that, then there is no real problem. He seems to be denying and avoiding reality.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.

What?

This is the sort of idiotic statement that makes me proud to no longer be a conservative. It's is an ideology fit for a turd in a toilet bowl.

This forum shows how dumb you guys are.

You would think so. I feel compassion for him as a human being faced with a terminal illness, but there is no denying that there are numerous reports and videos that his claims over in Vietnam are false; claims that he and Kerry knew POW's were left behind...deals were made. There are even claims that his imprisonment was highly exaggerated; to that though, I will give him credit and thank him for serving this country.  In the end, as his end is drawing near, only he knows the truth.  Regardless of what others believe, it is he who has to make 'right' with his creator for all his indiscretions, lies, deceit, and wrongdoings.  Perhaps the accusations are false or perhaps he has lived with his lies for so long that he has convinced himself that he did no wrong ... after all he's been labeled all his life as a war hero.  Certainly his service as a Republican senator has much to be desired; IMHO he has betrayed conservatives time and time again. I am still glad that I never voted for him.

Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
