And I quote:
CONGRATULATIONS!
You have the recommended Java installed
Version 8 Update 144
So now what??
@musiclady EXCELLENT. You did a good job on the installs.
NEXT: Install CCleaner.
https://www.piriform.com/Poke 'Free Download'
Next page, page down to the bottom of the graph and poke the free one (not free trial)
After download, find the file and run it, just like the other ones.
Should be in 'Downloads'.
Normal installation, you should be used to it... Pay attention if it tries to weasel you into 'free trial'... uncheck that box. You want the free version.
Let me know when it is up and running.
FYI: CCleaner is a cache cleaner... Which addresses the thing
@mystery-ak is getting you to do.
But ccleaner cleans ALL the caches with basically one button... IE, FF, Java, Flash, your temp directory... all at once.
It will force your browser to DL new pages for everything... this will eliminate the possibility of older cached pages being the problem.
You should use it once in a while, just to keep your system clean of flotsam and jetsam.
