I think you can drop the "probably."  Liberals rank among the most self-righteous people on the planet.  You can be that she DOES think she is right, DOES regard herself as saintly.

Her hatred of conservatives, rejoicing in their deaths, is not a whole lot different than the attitude of radical, self-righteous Muslims.  That attitude that they have in common is why the liberals practically adore Muslims (generally overlooking the fact that the jiahdists want to kill them, too).

These are the same people that made my life hell during my last two months of HS. My crime was to accept an Army ROTC scholarship. Most of the words thrown at me are unprintable. Living a good life has been the best revenge.

I also had teachers say to my face how "disappointed" they were in me for my decision. IOW, not much has changed over the past 45 years.

I see she finds reality a bit shocking.  Seems like the kind of person who has lived in such a narrow circle that she had NO idea there were those who would disagree with her.

I qualified for OCS, one of my biggest regrets is not going.

I have liberal family also.  We have learned from past mistakes at Christmas dinner and family gatherings.

This isn't just hate it is a desire for people to die that is what really gets me.
