Trump administration demands Facebook info on anti-Trump activists

The Trump administration reportedly has obtained search warrants that would allow them access to the Facebook pages of thousands of anti-Trump protesters.

The requested data — which targets all the information in three accounts — would include information on about 6,000 individuals who “liked” an anti-Donald Trump Facebook page, according to CNN......

If there is any truth to this it would be a serious abuse of executive power.  We would not put up with it if it was Obama doing the same for a Tea Party Facebook page and its followers.

Now if there was talk of assasination on one of these pages that would be a different story, but the job od the Secret Service.

This happened in February as well but in that case, they targeted very specific individuals over specific threats. In this case, it appears to be a blanket subpoena to expose thousands of people who simply 'like' a page, not over specific threats or even specific users.
