North Korea May Not Have Detected U.S. Bombers Near Its Border
« on: September 26, 2017, 08:31:46 pm »
by STELLA KIM and ALEXANDER SMITH

 It was meant to be show of force that would demonstrate to North Korea the towering military prowess of the United States.

Escorted by fighter jets, an undisclosed number of supersonic, long-range B-1B Lancer bombers were dispatched Saturday to fly up North Korea's eastern coast.

While the aircraft stayed in international waters, the nighttime mission took them farther north of the Demilitarized Zone that separates North and South Korea than any other American bomber or fighter this century.

But North Korea may not have actually noticed.

Dear North Korea,
This is our 1980s technology.

The B-1B Lancer you couldn't detect is 1970s technology for us. This is over 40 year old tech.

Imagine what we've developed recently you don't know about.

I stand corrected, but still not a B1

Yea, I didn't format that well. I was trying to show 80s tech then show 70s tech, but I didn't get the second image in so it looked like I was referring to the wrong aircraft.

Either way, the Norks will not like the end result of their payloads.

What fun is there in sending a barely detectable plane?

@RetBobbyMI @AbaraXas

No thank you for correcting your mistakes about B1/F117? Fine I wouldn't correct you again. Enjoy the ignorance.

I have always maintained that when the world finds out about some military weapon, it is already obsolete, like the F 117.  I remember the first time I saw an F 14 operate off my ship.  I thought it was the greatest thing since sliced bread.  Where is it now?  Sitting in the desert.
