NASCAR Won’t Put Up with Drivers and Crew Protesting National Anthem

In a strong statement that NASCAR is unwilling to follow the NFL’s self-inflicted immolation by taking sides with anti-America protests, owners have drawn a line in the sand to keep politics out of their sport.

Owners threatened to fire any malcontents who got the idea that it would be a good idea to flout the flag and national anthem during a Sunday racing event. Not only does the popular sport promote the idea of patriotism – like the NFL once did – but influential figures want to be sure that it doesn’t end up with a dumpster fire like the one that is consuming pro football.

Wise move.  They know who their customers are.  Evidently, the NFL is math challenged.
