Paul Ryan: ‘Not in our nation’s interest’ to kick out Dreamers

House Speaker Paul Ryan said Wednesday that it was “not in our nation’s interest” to expel the roughly 800,000 young people protected from deportation by the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program.

I do believe that kicking these 800,000 kids out to countries that they have probably not been to since they were toddlers, countries that speak languages that they may not even know, is not in our nation’s interest,” Ryan said.

The Wisconsin Republican said President Trump was right to phase out the program, which helped young immigrants living in the US who were brought into the country as children.

He said that he wanted the White House to provide time for a legislative fix because he didn’t want the program “to be rescinded on Day One and create chaos.”

Trump has announced that he’ll dismantle the Obama administration’s program in six months, and Ryan said that window should give time for Congress to act.

How about kicking out the ones over 21 and let them get in line as adults?  How about just kicking the ones who lied on their applications?   This would be a good start.

The ending of DACA does not kick out one single soul. But instead keeps someone they are trying to deport from hiding behind the DACA shield in the same way they can use sanctuary cities.

It is rightfully now up to Congress. My opinion is to enact strict rules, and stick to them.

Liars, cheaters, crooks, get kicked out. Others get to stay, but no automatic citizenship, except possibly for military service.

They were promised an education and temporary.  Done and done.   Escort the adults (21 + ) back and let them decide whether or not they want to get on the back of the line to enter legally.  We kept our end of the bargain.

Mexico's now offering programs for returning "dreamers" so this may end up a win-win for all.

Yeah Ryan can stop with the bleeding heart.  We all know they speak the language of whatever country they came from.  And if you are worried about the children or young adults just make sure mom and dad leave with them.

But you need to Hold Trump to his immigration promise.  I know its easier to deflect to Ryan who is also a bleeding heart socialist.  You can do it.  Just say it.  President Trump how about......................
