Lou Dobbs slams ‘RINO Ryan’: Trump ‘booted hapless fool' out of the way

Fox Business's Lou Dobbs on Wednesday slammed Speaker Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) for his “unbridled hostility towards President Trump,” calling the Speaker a “RINO” after the negotiations to raise the debt ceiling and fund the government.

“The president not only took RINO Ryan to the woodshed but eliminated any need for any Republican to ever pretend again that Ryan is a real Republican in any way or that any RINO has a political future after Mr. Trump simply booted the hapless fool of a Speaker out of the way of those trying to get the nation’s business done,” Dobbs said, using an acronym for "Republican in name only."

Dobbs showed a clip of Ryan calling it “a ridiculous idea” to tie aid for Hurricane Harvey to raising the debt ceiling.

I'm seeing a bunch of articles about how Trump made a "deal" with Democrats (which always ends well).  This one seems to say he just bypassed Ryan.

Did I miss the part where the House and Senate have to vote?  I thought that was how it was supposed to work.

I think a lot of what is wrong with this nation lies in that sentiment.

A politician is first and foremost supposed to support the Constitution, then to represent the people in his geographic area. Way down the list should be his desire to get re-elected.

Our Founders would be aghast if they knew there was such a thing called career politicians in our Congress.  Even more than knowing that most politicians were lawyers.
