Trump's 2020 Re-Election Campaign Already in Full Swing

President Donald Trump's re-election efforts are already in hyper drive, with rallies planned throughout the fall, consultants on board, and attack efforts aimed at potential Democratic foes, Politico reported.

Trump travels to Arizona on Tuesday for the first of several rallies aimed at padding his re-election and the Republican National Committee's coffers, efforts that also seemingly convey a message to other Republicans who may be considering mounting a primary bid at the hobbled president: Don't.

"We're already engaging voters and volunteers in key battleground states to defend our majorities in 2018 and to ensure we keep the White House in 2020," RNC chairwoman Ronna Romney McDaniel told Politico.

If the next 3 years are anything like the first 8 months, I'll do a repeat of 2016.

No government in the 12,000 years of modern mankind history has led its people into anything but the history books with a simple lesson, don't let this happen to you.

I hear ya on this one Corbe, but Ted won't be able to make that kind of move on his own; it's going to take Lee, Paul, those from the Freedom Caucus, etc., to create an upheaval within the GOP backing him witha move to a 3rd party.  I don't see Cruz running against Trump in 2020 unless he's positive he has the money and the votes behind him.  I look for him to wait until 2024 or later to run.

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

I love Ted Cruz and hope he will be president some day .... but Ted could not get the Senate to pass health care even with his excellent amendment and I seriously doubt he could get any more cooperation from the weenie crowd than Trump has.

Ted will only run in 2020 if Trump opts out.

I think that is a real possibility especially if Trump is able to get some of his goals passed and can go out as something of a victor.

But Ted is young ... about 30 years younger than Trump.  Maybe Ted can outlive all the old goats in the party who are holding us back.

I have a suggestion for his rally and campaign music.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=s_DPvE4rorw

Some of the lyrics.....

I live for the applause, applause, applause
I live for the applause-plause, live for the applause-plause
Live for the way that you cheer and scream for me
The applause, applause, applause

Give me that thing that I love (Turn the lights on)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (Make it real loud)
Give me that thing that I love (Turn the lights on)
Put your hands up, make 'em touch, touch (Make it real loud)

Lady GaGa - Applause Lyrics

So instead of governing, we will have endless campaigning, to make empty promises Trump and the GOP have absolutely no intention of honoring or keeping.

Brilliant.

Fart for freedom, fart for liberty and fart proudly.  - Benjamin Franklin

...Obsta principiis—Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud, is the only maxim which can ever preserve the liberties of any people. When the people give way, their deceivers, betrayers and destroyers press upon them so fast that there is no resisting afterwards. The nature of the encroachment upon [the] American constitution is such, as to grow every day more and more encroaching. Like a cancer, it eats faster and faster every hour." - John Adams, February 6, 1775

Funny, because in the book and movie – he had one all along and just needed someone to open his eyes to that fact for him.
