Gingrich: Trump presidency at risk without 'serious changes'
By Robin Eberhardt - 08/18/17 11:21 AM EDT

Former Speaker Newt Gingrich said President Trump needs to make “serious changes” if he wants to have a stable presidency.

The Trump ally said in a Fox News interview with Bill Hemmer on Friday that Trump has taken a “good first step” by bringing in John Kelly as chief of staff, but that other changes are necessary.

"You don’t get down to 35 percent approval and have people in your own party shooting at you and conclude that everything’s going fine," he said.

Gingrich added that Trump is in a “qualitatively different position” now than when he endured previous controversies.

Newt needs to shut his mouth.  He had his chance to do something but that chance is gone.

He is joining the bandwagon of Republican turncoats and weenies who are seeking attention by criticizing Trump, especially now when the MSM and leftists are piling on big time.

His throne sniffers here assure us that everything is fine, and that Trump is playing 40 dimensional chess.

Former Speaker of the House and longtime Trump supporter Newt Gingrich is seriously worried about the future of Donald Trump’s presidency.

Gingrich, who has consistently been one of Trump’s most optimistic supporters, said Friday morning that Trump is more isolated than he realizes and needs to make “serious changes” if he’s going to have a stable presidency......

Yeah, it was too late when Newt endorsed him for POTUS.

I admire Newt as being a reasonable voice in conservatism, he's level headed and I would not dare call him a turn coat.  I'm sure many disagree,  but along with Huckabee, I see them as being the voices of reason.

I'm not even sure if some of the chaos we see is just theater to say the truth.

Noot has been out of Congress for twenty years, yet still lives inside the Beltway.  Can't get more swampy than that.

If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.     -Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."     -Ayn Rand-

That's interesting. To what end?
