In the past 10 years there have been only four Fed Funds rate increases.

Three of those increases have occurred since President Trump won the election on November 8th, 2016.

These rates should go up anyways

We've had a near 0% interest rate since the last recession and we got $10 trillion in new debt plus one of the worst recoveries to show for it

The rates should be tied to inflation. They have been kept artifically low for too long. It is good they are starting to be brought back up.

IIRC they were purposely kept low so people wouldn't realize just how incompetent Big Ears fiscal policy was and the damage that ObamaCare and years of QE were doing the economy.

Like flood waters receding after a storm...as the interest rates come back up to where they probably should be...only then will we realize just how much QE...the ACA and Barry spending like a drunken sailor hut the economy.
