Dem whip delivers pizzas to Scalise staffers

House Majority Whip Steve Scalise’s (R-La.) office received pizzas Wednesday from House Minority Whip Steny Hoyer’s (D-Md.) staff after the GOP leader was injured in a shooting at a congressional baseball practice earlier in the day.

Staffers for the Democratic whip were seen carrying several boxes of pizza to Scalise's office.

Didn't think honestly that any of the Dem leadership had it in them to be that nice.

Maybe it is just me but this almost comes across as an insult. A few pizzas is something you do when you accidentally park in someone's designated parking space or as a thank you for picking up your mail while you were on vacation. I think this requires more than just a few pizzas. If they want to show unity how about changing their rhetoric?

I'm more inclined to believe he's considering his party's re-election prospects in light of the unending vitriol and snake venom they've been wallowing in since they got trounced last November.

Nice and Democrat aren't words I usually associate with each other.
