That definitely appears to be her mindset.
She is a reporter and therefore not subject to the same laws that govern the little people.
I ran into that years ago doing security for a motorcycle group charity benefit party. A local newsie was in the party (sign out front said No weapons, no drugs, no attitudes) standing there smoking a joint.
I told her to put it out or take it out the gate. I got the "Don't you know who I am?" treatment immediately. Actually someone told me later on who she was, but in deference to her question, I responded with "I don't give a flying F*** who you are, this is a charity function, the sign says no drugs, and I assume you can read. Besides," I said, "this place has undercover police in here working the crowd seeing who is behaving and who isn't. Move it! Put it out or take it out of the gate!"
The sheriff's detective standing next to her (plainclothes) was laughing his ass off--apparently SHE didn't know who HE was. I bought a decent rifle from him years later and he still got a kick out of that night.
