Squatty Potty is putting their feet down when it comes to Kathy Griffin.

CEO Bobby Edwards issued a statement announcing Squatty Potty has suspended an ad campaign featuring Griffin following the backlash towards the comedian for a photo of her holding up a bloody mask that represented Donald Trump.

“We were shocked and disappointed to learn about the image Ms. Griffin shared today, it was deeply inappropriate and runs contrary to the core values our company stands for. In response, Squatty Potty has suspended its ad campaign featuring Ms. Griffin,” Edwards said. “We have acted swiftly and decisively to demonstrate our commitment to a culture of decency, civility, and tolerance.”

A Squatty Potty is a toilet stool designed to “help users assume the squatting position while using the bathroom, delivering fast, complete elimination with comfort and ease.”

Tuesday morning images surfaced of Kathy Griffin, co-host and executive producer of CNN’s ‘New Years Eve Live’, holding a severed Trump head in what appeared to be an ISIS style mock execution.

Twitter and Facebook were set ablaze with concerned citizens calling for CNN to disavow their employee’s actions. Furthermore, many were calling for CNN’s advertisers to pull their ads from the network.

Though no advertisers have pulled ads from CNN at this time, a venue for one of Griffin’s scheduled performances this summer has canceled her appearance.

Route 66 Casino has announced Griffin’s July 22nd performance has been canceled.

• Trump has history of being chummy with her.
• She's now taking a very harsh shot at him.
• It's not far afield to wonder whether he did something to upset her.
• And he has a history of vile comments about liberties he takes.
• So it follows that such behavior could be linked to this.

Logical.

(Though I think it was actually just that Kathy Griffin is a disgusting attention-bore liberal who's mad that her liberal pal Trump is presenting himself as a "conservative" these days.  Therefore, I think her apology is a farce to save her own skin.)
