Is this some secret messaging that I'm missing out on??

I'd say that's T-R-O-U-B-L-E...........

I beg your pardon!

Are you saying the world would be a better place without Gary, Indiana??

Whatever will I sing about if it goes under?   :dx1:

"Everything's Up to Date in Kansas City..."

(Or to be more regionally correct: "Rocky Top, you'll always be, home sweet home to me!")

Every single time we drive to St. Louis to visit our daughter, and I see the signs, I sing that song.

They've gone about as fer as they can go.

(I'm pretty sure that's not true about Rocky Top, TN.  :dx1:)

You would be amazed at how much I sound like Ronnie Howard when I sing that song!  Down to the last slurped sibilant.

And I sing it every time we drive though Gary................ when I'm not holding my nose.  ^-^

Given that most of the leftist hellholes in our country are coastal or on the Great Lakes, I'm actually pretty OK with this...

160 foot rise wouldn't impact the Great Lakes.

So we've gotta take out Chicago some other way, eh?

I read that Venice was going to be under water in about 100 years.

Venice Italy, not California

That was my old Facebook avatar. I haven't been there since 13. The cardinal one made me miss my dad too much and I'm having a real bad problem with depression right now. It's almost crippling

Thank you @Sanguine and @musiclady

Well, we can certainly keep praying for you!

Losing a parent is a rough thing.   That all by itself can bring you down low.  When you combine it with the rest of what's been going on with you, it's really understandable that you're having a very hard time.

It may seem trite, but hang in there, and if you have someone you can trust to get some counseling, do so.  There are a lot of people here who care about you a lot, Freya.

You are precious!
