Ignoring Trump's obvious flaws will not make him a better President.

Not everything he does is wonderful, and not everything the media says about him is a lie.

Conservatives should not abandon critical thinking because they are angry at the obvious and galling bias of the media.

The fact that this White House leaks like a kitchen colander is not the fault of the news media. It is the product of poor organization, poor personnel decisions, and poor leadership.   

Pretending that Trump's problems are all imaginary or made-up is not going to help him, or America.   

You won't find more than 3... maybe 4... people on this whole forum who pretend that Trump is without problems. 

What some of us are saying is that the left and the media have launched an all-out war on Trump and playing with the facts is just a game to them.

Why should we believe the press just because Trump has faults?

We are at war with the press.  Hillary and Obama have not gone away and they (especially Obama) are orchestrating a lot of this from the sidelines.

Don't even try to tell us that this is Trump's fault or that we don't think Trump has faults.  Trump has so many faults that I continue to be amazed that he's done as well as he has.

But I don't think it's a "just because" situation.  I believe the moral decay is pervasive. It extends into conservatism.  It isn't just abortion...it's a whole list of issues which concern social conservatives.  I won't get into them here, but those on our side are becoming increasingly unwilling to stand up for those issues, out of fear, or just because they don't care.  Or because they actually agree with the left. 

You believe the moral decay is successful in being all-encompassing... because that is how the left wants you to see it.  Despite the best efforts of the rabid left, this nation is still mostly Christian.  The decay coming from the left hasn't managed, yet, to destroy that Christianity....despite their best efforts.  I believe they did stand up for those issues.... just last November. 

i didn't say anything about destruction of the nation.  But look at the character of the man the Republicans nominated and elected.  I'm not going off on an anti-Trump rant, although I'm sure someone will accuse me of it, but objectively...the man stood on a stage and bragged about the size of his genitals.  No one cared.  His past was there for anyone to see who cared to look, but no one did, and that was during the primaries when we had a number of other choices.  The culture has degenerated, and that includes our side.

I know full well about the character.  I didn't vote for him, after all.   But.... I will and do support him against the radical left in this country.  As long as he stands against that radical left... and not with it/them.

We've got to stop seeing it that way, though.  We've become so tribalistic that all we care about is the left's reaction.  That's the prime thing now.  Well, not for me.  The left can go to hell.  We have a president now who isn't managing things well, and we have to focus on that and demand better.

I care about defeating the radical left in America.  It has been my main concern for decades now.   I really don't see that changing any time soon, if ever.

There is essentially an ongoing effort to remove a duly elected President from office simply because some people don't like him, and it has basically been in existence since the day before the election.  First it was trying to refight the Electoral College, then the 25th Amendment, then impeachment.  A constant drumbeat from day one.

Apparently, a consideration chunk of the population believes that if they don't like the person who got elected, they are entitled to a do-over, and sooner rather than later.  That's why I laughed when I heard Clapper talking about the "threat to our democratic institutions", and pointing the finger at Trump.  Trump is a goober, but it's the people trying to undo an election that are the real threat to our democratic systems and our Constitution.

Must have been mixed up in there somewhere with her misguided belief that she can run around and bully folks...to include the forum owner as she pleases and act like she runs the place.  She doesn't.  Any advice like that from her...especially since she doesn't practice what she preaches...goes the same place any advice from you would go.

Just because the rabid left, the minority in this country, have forced abortion (and ObamaCare) down our throats against the will of the majority (that would be us).... doesn't equate to the entire nation deserving to be destroyed ... which is what I think you're alluding to.  The fact that Hillary didn't win last November proves that at least for now, most Americans are against what the rabid left has been pushing and dragging us towards.

As for Trump, true he doesn't know what the hell he's doing, much less how to do it.  But he is, like all presidents, learning on the job.  It sure as hell doesn't help that he's getting barbed from all sides, even from supposedly 'his own side' in the GOP, and attacked 24/7 and non-stop.... even worse than George Bush had to endure.  It's all about the left taking revenge and trying to get their power back by any means possible.  I, for one, don't intend to help them re: that agenda by blindly accepting any and all of their fake/contrived BS they call "news".  I'm just funny that way.
