Merkel hits back at Trump over NATO spending

German Chancellor Angela Merkel is pushing back at President Trump's demands that Germany meet NATO's target of spending two percent of gross domestic product on defense.

According to Bloomberg, Merkel said Friday that Germany would continue to count foreign aid towards the two percent target, despite the Trump administration's insistence that aid not be counted.

Worrying about the Russians is fine, but the Russians are experts at the Proxy war game. I'm sure they would like nothing better than the armies of Europe squandering themselves against the Muslim horde (a win-win for the Russians), and Russia would doubtless be happy to step in to clean up the mess and 'help' impose order. This is why Brexit and the current French election are so important to the future of Europe. Merkel is a quisling for the Islamists, whether she knows it or not.
