The leader of the Catholic Church went off script to denounce the conditions refugees face after entering Europe. Pope Francis was leading a service in Rome for modern-day Christian martyrs when he made the comparison.

My sincere apologies to all my Catholic friends, but this Pope is a Leftist idiot. He needs to get a teaching gig at Berkeley.
You cannot "COEXIST" with people who want to kill you.
If they kill their own with no conscience, there is nothing to stop them from killing you.
Rational fear and anger at vicious murderous Islamic terrorists is the same as irrational antisemitism, according to the Leftists.

The pope needs to pray more. Speak less.

I doubt the NAZI's had a problem with too many people trying to get in (except Soviets with guns, but that came later)

The Catholics need to ship this tool back to the third world, and get a real pope.

My wife and I are Catholic. Our priest sounds like a Berkley SJW.  Radical leftist  except on abortion. He has been in our parrish for 5 years or so.

Attendance at Christmas, Easter was you had to get there 45  minutes early to get a seat. Not now.

Maybe we're being too hard on the Pope. I'm sure he's referring to Europe rounding up people onto trains and subjecting them to insane medical experiments, forced labor, starvation, and mass executions. I'm sure that's what he meant.

Then I can compare the Vatican to Berchtesgaden where only Hitler and his cronies were allowed.  In the Vatican only the big dogs are allowed to roam.  Or is it Rome?

No apology needed.  I agree; he is a socialist and a leftist idiot.
Romans 12:16-21

Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty, but associate with the lowly, do not claim to be wiser than you are.  Do not repay anyone evil for evil, but take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.  If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all…do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

Yep.  I feel the same way.  He is a place holder Pope.

  • Ah, the air is so much fresher here...
This is just reaching to shoehorn an agenda. Not even intellectually honest. He's a bridge too far now.

Who will that crazy College of Cardinals elect next?

Francis is "the obama of popes".

Could the next one be "the Trump of popes"?   ;)

I don't think God would like the competition.

This is the same Pope who said, "There is no such thing as Islamic terrorism." He said this while Christians all over the M.E. were being captured, sold, tortured, raped, and massacred. And while current attacks were ongoing all over Scandinavia and Europe.

That is exactly how Obama would respond and is exactly something Obama would say.

So yes, this Pope is the Obama of all Popes.

Today is Holocaust Remembrance Day.

I wonder what the twelve million people who died in the camps would say about this statement.

Six million Jews, six million other people.

May they Rest In Peace.

The more this guy speaks, the more it seems apparent he is the Church's Obama. Am apologist who, although his heritage says otherwise, believes the propaganda that Western civilization is responsible for the ills of the world.

Both people's actions are to be condemned (yes, I mean even the Pope).
No punishment, in my opinion, is too great, for the man who can build his greatness upon his country's ruin~  George Washington

I know he's the Pope, but he does not seem to be a particularly religious fellow. He is much more of a far-Left activist/politician than a religious leader. IMO

The Pope needs to lose the community activist shtick and start working on being an inspirational leader and the chief shepherd of the flock.  In other words the Pope needs to STFU with his liberal spoutings
.

Once upon a time us Catholics would have been stuck with a bad pope, but since Pope Emeritus Benedict opened the door for a pope resigning when he can no longer do his job, it is time for the faithful to look at Francis and ask -- “is this man able to lead the Holy Catholic Church?”

Unfortunately I don't think there's any practicable way to remove him, short of death or voluntary abdication.

Perhaps someone else might know?

This pope is not a Christian and the Catholic church needs to get rid of him fast if they want to have any respect at all from other Christians.
