At least 12 people were killed overnight following looting and violence in Venezuela’s capital amid a spiraling political crisis, authorities in Caracas said Friday.

Most of the deaths took place in El Valle, a working class neighborhood near the city’s biggest military base where opposition leaders say 13 people were hit with an electrical current while trying to loot a bakery protected by an electric fence.

A few days ago MILLIONS marched in protest of the government in Caracas and the tear gas came out. They used it on an elevated highway packed with protesters, if there had been no wind people would have had to stampede to get away. The violence is coming from the government side, of course. Now Maduro wants to arm the "militia" which he means his colectivos thugs.

Kind of makes one wonder about the failures of socialism when they deem it necessary to protect bakeries with electric fences...!

And here in the U.S.   Mayday is only a week away, and it just keeps getting more violent every year. I predict this year will top them all.
