Let's review: If you were confronted by a charging Nazi who was clearly bent on hitting you, would you maybe ... try to defend yourself?  That's obviously what she was doing when she "put her hands up around his throat right before he punched her."  And you would no doubt do the same. 

It's odd that you ignored such an obvious possibility.  Maybe you've let your emotions get in the way of naming Nazis like Mr. Damigo for what they are.

It's pretty simple: don't try to justify the actions of nazis like Nathan Damigo, and you won't get accused of throwing in with them. 

Just because you disagree with one side in that melee, doesn't automatically make the other side the "good guys."  When the other side is playing brownshirt, the smart thing to do is say so.

First of all..... if I had put myself in the position of being charged by someone during this melee, I would expect what I got.  Your defense of the indefensible is fascinating, however.   And calling Damigo a Nazi does NOT detract from her culpability during the entire day's events.

She put herself 'out there' and was launching bottles at people all damned day.  Some even said that she was throwing M80s into the Trump crowd.  Again, she is no innocent babe.

I think they are both dangerous. You won't contain the left by releasing white supremacists on them. It just emboldens everyone to ignore the law and fight their own battles in the streets. The anarchist love that idea. You really need to think about where this leads.
