First Lady Melania Trump scored a legal and moral victory after bringing British newspaper the Daily Mail to its knees.

The Daily Mail and Mail Online apologized and agreed to pay $2.9 million in damages to settle a libel lawsuit Melania had filed over a bogus story claiming she had worked as a call girl/paid escort during her early days as a model.

Good for her.  It's about time the lesson is taught to the azzhats that mistakenly 'think' they can slander someone (usually someone on the right) with no consequences, legal or otherwise.

In the UK a report can be 100% accurate and still be considered libel

I'm fine with this. Now, about five mistresses and helping assassinate JFK, some other media outlets ought to be cringing.
