I don't think it has anything to do with being happy or unhappy.  I think he looks exhausted.  I posted a video from the banquet on the thread in the World News Forum … and there were moments he looked like each eye weighed 10 pounds.   :laugh:

Halibut ...yuk ... lamb even more yuk.  Maybe the herb stuffing.  Fruit and vegs sound wonderful as does the desert.  Lamb??  Seriously?? I tried it once and thought I was going to hurl.  Not a fan of fish either.

I like fish, but steamed?  Lamb is OK.  And, turn beautiful watercress into a mousse?  Yuck.

Honesty, after @EdJames posted the menu, POTUS was probably very disappointed knowing what's for dinner ... he doesn't seem like a lamb and fish kind of guy ... he needs something like Filet Mignon with Bearnaise sauce or Beef Wellington or even a succulent Prime Rib! happy77

Ah the Brits can't cook....I would have fixed them some liver and onions with mashed potatoes and a glass of Raspberry lemonade.....maybe a bottle of champagne :whistle:

Hopefully he knows that you don't go to the UK for fine dining!! 

Maybe when he gets back to quarters they will bring him some American fast food.

FLOTUS wears a red cape dress to dinner with Prince Charles and Camilla.  I love the color on her and she's wearing her hair down which adds to a really soft, feminine look.  POTUS looks much better in this tux than the one he had on yesterday.

Here is what the Trumps served at dinner to honor Charles and Camilla at the Winfield House: (much better than last night for certain)

The first course, which was served with a 2016 Iron Horse Chardonnay, included heritage tomatoes with fresh burrata -- a fresh Italian cheese made from mozzarella and cream -- garden basil and Maldon salt -- an English sea salt that comes in flakes.

The main course included grilled filet of beef, Pommes Anna, watercress puree, celeriac and Chantenay carrots and was served with a 2016 Iron Horse Pinot Noir.

For dessert, diners were treated with summer berries, homemade vanilla ice cream and Muscovado sugar tuile -- a cookie made with Muscovado sugar. They were served Iron Horse Brut Reserve wine from 2005.

I think Melania looks gorgeous ... but I'm wondering why she's caught in this cape look, too.  This red dress would have been just a lovely and appropriate had it been sleeveless.
