Well, I'm glad we can finally dispense with the ridiculous notion that Republicans are Conservatives. The reality? Congress is in session. BOHICA.

Down here in Texas our legislature only meets for 140 days every two years. We have a saying about that 140 day period.  It goes lie this;

"Hide your women and your wallet!  The legislature is in session!"

Can't fool Texans!
"I wish it need not have happened in my time," said Frodo.

"So do I," said Gandalf, "and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

That's called obstructionism.   That's not what the American people elected this President and this Congress for.
What American people are you talking about? Damn straight, I want Congress to stand dead in the way of anything that doesn't pass muster. That is more what I sent them there for than to pass more laws we don't need.

If the RINOs could vote for repeal when they knew it wouldn't make it across the Resolute Desk, how come they're so impaired now?

@Smokin Joe

Because they never intended to repeal it.  It was all theater for the rubes to get them to schlep to the polls.

Maybe conservatives haven't lived to see a victory because all they want to do is fight.

FIVE houses in my immediate family lost their insurance over Obamacare. All of them are now paying TRIPLE the rate, for insurance they can't use. My brother has to pay out TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS A YEAR before he can get recompense at all. Not so much as a friggin band-aid for you, bub. My sister had two operations this year and had to pay cash for all of it. not a single penny of coverage.

Nobody cried for them when Obamacare passed.

And btw, I live under a tin roof, far away from ivory towers.

@roamer_1, you have to understand...some of Trump's drones will push ANYTHING he gets behind.  The substance doesn't matter; he wants it, and that's enough for them.

None of your hard, cold facts will move them.

Isn't it funny how all gnashing of teeth and wailing is for the Freedom Caucus to abandon their position.  Where are the calls for the "progressive" Republicans to make concessions?

I would much rather/prefer to see Obamacare remain and fail or crumble (as a Democrat signature failure).... than have the GOP put their shade of lipstick on it and officially label and own it as a Republican failure.  If Trump's "my way or the highway" approach unwittingly accomplishes that...

I'm good with it.

Trump is forcing the Pubs to drop their veils to show their faces. That in itself is a good thing. Until now, Smilin' Jack could campaign with the Bible in one hand and the Constitution in the other and pass as conservative.

Yes, indeed.  It's officially RINO hunting season.  Taking names and making notes for 2018.

Thanks, Trump.

Well ain't that cute. Cute little words strung in clever little arrangements. He probably walked away pretty smirky over that little retort.

To put it in snowflake terms, it's like your college roommate taking a crap on the dormroom floor and blaming you for not cleaning it up, because you're full of white privilege or something.

If we're not going to pass anything other than a lite version of the same, then let Obamacare fail and let things go down the toilet.

Yep. The old bully bum rush, fists a swinging, up in your face - 'if you don't support this to fix it, then it's all on you!' Yet I see little if any compromise with the Freedom Caucus, only demands that they capitulate.

It's the Dems pooh pile, let it go down the toilet.

Michelle Smith appears to be a Mo-ron.

Its 2012 all over again when liberals said we couldn't pass a RTW law in Michigan because "Obama won". They looked at me like I was the idiot when I pointed out that Obama didn't win a single seat in the MI legislature.

@Free Vulcan

I agree with this in principle and,despite the president's statement yesterday, ObamaCare has not made American stronger, but Obamacare won't collapse in the traditional sense. In a free market situation, it would of crashed a year or two ago

Instead, deficits, debt, and money printing will be used to prop it up just like Washington DC does with every other boondoggle
I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.

Now Trump is attacking the Freedom Caucus over this, accusing them of trying to keep Planned Parenthood.

He may want to check his facts. Planned Parenthood funding comes under HHS budget, not the ACA. The sad part is he knows this because he made a big deal out of it in his budget discussions.

Its why he returned to the vomit of attacking Ted Cruz's father yesterday. Ted Cruz opposes it and must be punished for defying the king.

There you go. This tweet finally shows that the idea that Trump is a conservative warring against RINO's is a total lie and farce.

Next time the Trump fangirls (like Hannity, Limblob, Levin, the mental midgets on this site) start in on that garbage, shove this tweet in their face.

Well this is the problem right here. His history is one of "Tweet now. Confirm if true or not later."
