I heard that tape this morning and it was said the call was made shortly after the film of Trump came out where he bragged of grabbing women.  There is nothing wrong about the call - it was his opinion that Trump did not represent the values of Republicans and he wouldn't support him.  Good for Ryan.

"Can be heard saying" in a tape is without context.  There are things Trump has done (mostly tweets) for which "I won't defend Trump -- not now, not in the future," is the correct response.  The article presents it as if it were a blanket statement by Ryan that he will not defend Trump against any attack, which would be an absurd position to take since some attacks on Trump are attacks on positions that Trump and Ryan both hold.

I don't understand why this was posted or what we are taking it seriously.  We don't know that Paul Ryan said that.  If he did, it was months ago.  He has been supportive of Trump.

As far as people who consistently criticize Trump, particularly over little things unrelated to national policy, I don't think they are democrats.

I just think they are living in La La Land where the sound of their own voices is background music.

They are just so dam smart and they have to prove it every day.

When they are asked why they won't support the president, they always claim they will if he ever does anything right but apparently Trump never does anything right, or at least not right enough for these people.

It's really simple.  Trump is our best chance for getting the reforms we want to happen.  We should support him, or at least have the good sense to ignore silliness.  Schumer and the MSM will take care of the hyperbole over that.
