Trump calls Planned Parenthood's bluff

Each time Congress debates whether to defund Planned Parenthood, the inevitable refrain from the group's supporters is that the money it receives from taxpayers doesn't pay for abortions and that, besides, abortion makes up just 3 percent of its services. The group's leaders saturate the media with their claim that their 700 clinics offer women and families "a range of health services."

But an abortion is nothing like a breast exam, which Planned Parenthood clinics offer, or a mammogram, which they do not (though its supporters often claim they do). An abortion is much more serious and consequential. Unlike those other services, it is not meant to protect or enhance life, but rather to destroy it.

Every federal dollar given to PP should be matched by a federal dollar given to the National Rifle Association.  After all, the NRA is a gun safety organization that provides vital safety training to millions of gun owners nationwide who otherwise might have no access to that training.

That or to organizations that help pregnant mothers find adoptive parents for their babies if they don't want to keep them.

How about we just don't give any federal money to any of them!  There is not one bit of authority in the constitution for doing so!

I think NEA is the same way. These organizations actually make political endorsements. To fund Planned Parenthood with $500 million plus every year is ridiculous. You can see how this now becomes a racket. Unfortunately, I think PP ends up making a ton of money from abortions alone.
