Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer told Republicans Thursday that it wasn’t fair to lump all Democrats in with Sen. Elizabeth Warren, and claimed that the Massachusetts Senator wasn’t in the running for leadership.

The National Republican Senatorial Committee is rolling out a slate of ads this week, highlighting the role Warren has taken in the Senate’s hearings on President Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees. They draw attention to Democratic Senate candidates up for re-election in 2018, who seem to be following Warren’s lead when it comes to voting.
 

The ad slate is targeted specifically at Democrats who are up for re-election in red states and in Rust Belt states where Donald Trump beat Hillary Clinton.

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D., Mass.), an outspoken critic of what she calls a "rigged" economic system that has hurt the middle class, has turned herself into a fundraising powerhouse in the Democratic Party because of her economic message.

Warren has developed a massive fundraising operation that she will use for her uphill reelection efforts in 2018–and supporters hope a potential presidential run in 2020.

The Massachusetts Democrat, known as one of the more progressive lawmakers in her party, had $4.8 million in her campaign account at the beginning of 2017, which is more than any other Senate Democrat up for reelection in 2018, the Associated Press reported.

I read that Warren's poll numbers are not good. She may not survive the election.

That's the point of Schumer's plea. If Warren is not polling well, he doesn't want her to pull the whole party down.

Off topic but when I turned on my TV this morning it was on Showtime and apparently they were doing a special on How in the World did Trump get elected.  All I saw before I turned it off was a Black guy claiming that the election was a White Lash.

Its funny watching the democrats & media come up with all this convoluted rationale trying to find an answer for Trump and not for a moment considering that its possible that their party is seen by most as having gone off the deep end ideologically, and representing only the fringe elements on the left.

They're saying that because (obviously) most of "whitey" America had had enough of the Magic Negro in the White Hut.  I know I sure as hell had had enough.  But it still didn't make me (considered part of the "whitey" clan) vote for Trump.  So it's just another BS lie by lefties created to slur and slander non-minority Americans, IMO.
