The greatest danger to the west is not Islam. It's Muslim apologists and people that listen to them. The left has always used brown people to achieve their goals. This time they chose a particularly violent 'brown people'.
While it is self-evident that the Left has its share of people who aren't very smart and who can be easily manipulated into thinking they are doing 'the right thing' when they aren't, I do not believe they are all so stupid as to not know what they are dealing with.
Leftists read plenty, and despite their almost universal aversion to either facts or religious texts, some surely have read at least a translation of the Koran.
Having done so, they KNOW the nature of the forces they toy with.
While their actions and words indicate they do not want to live under the misogynistic totalitarianism of Islam in the streets, on the news and elsewhere they all too frequently spend inordinate amounts of time promoting the Taqiyya practiced by Islamists for the purpose of invading the West.
All they are bound by is a hatred, not only for the perceived constraints of the philosophies of the West, but the religion which is the root of that philosophical code, one which often is at odds with the libertine existence with which Leftists seem so enamored.
So why would the Left ally itself with a philosophy even more constricting and less forgiving than the one they hate?
Look deeper in the philosophy of the left and you will find a desire for control. The whole while proclaiming to want 'freedom', the Left wants to control the very thoughts and perceptions of its desired libertine existence, and, as a matter of perception, to enslave those who would limit that libertine existence and have them pay for the consequences of that behaviour.
It is perceived as a 'payback', against those who follow the admonishments of a loving and forgiving deity and live a life designed by that deity to bring health, happiness, and prosperity; against the people who followed the Creator's guide for their life.
But the Left would not ally itself with Islamists out of love for Islam's philosophy, either, especially when the teachings of Islam would have them punished harshly and irrevocably, with no forgiveness or mercy. So, why the alliance?
Deep down, both philosophies are destructive. Even when the 'Peace of Islam' should descend in a region, factions will attack and destroy one another, allegedly under the same religion.
It isn't the ordinary leftist who regurgitates the word salad that passes for logic on the Left, nor the one throwing bricks through shop windows in the street, nor the ones who march in costumes reminiscent of genitalia in the streets who would embrace Islam, they would be silenced, have their hands removed, or be put to death, in turn. They do not crave Islam.
They crave the violence and chaos which can justify the levels of control they want, to impose their will on a population which will not accept their libertine nature.
They see Islam as a tool to be wielded in their quest for power, and nothing more.
Only by inviting people into our streets who will use violence in a manner and at a level they have only dreamed of (not that they haven't used rioting, murder, and even bombings themselves, but these others are so
good at it, and have no qualms about getting their hands bloody) can they achieve the bloodletting and terror that will have the ordinary masses howling for "safety" and "security" at a level which will drown out the voices of reason.
They want the masses ready to throw away their Rights, their fundamental beliefs, to strip themselves of the philosophical mantle that enabled their very Liberty, shrieking in terror, willing to accept any chains to save themselves.
The Left does not have the strength of belief or the depth of conviction those who believe they will go to paradise and be met by 72 virgins have. They are not willing to die for their 'cause', but they are willing to use someone else in that regard, thinking somehow that their desire to be libertines or controllers will somehow overwhelm the deeper belief that Islam holds that it will prevail and dominate the world or be rewarded for eternity for trying.
Those who really believe in nothing, who hold no belief they'd die for (if you don't believe in an afterlife, what's the reward in that?), think they will somehow be able to rein in the forces they would unleash, those who will die for the beliefs they hold because they believe in an eternal reward.
Like children playing with live grenades, they think they can throw them far enough to not be caught in the kill zone, without comprehending just how wrong they are.
Beyond that, though they like the idea of a tax on those who will not comply with their demands to act or believe the same, whether that jizya is paid for not buying into their health care plan, not baking a cake, of bringing flowers, it is an attack on those who believe differently, either for being faithful to their beliefs, or not embracing the teachings of their prophets (did I spell that right?). But then, only the Left would tax someone for not going to a 'Wellness Center' and schlepping themselves along on a treadmill after working the day on their feet.
