March 1, 2017Last night we saw a clear contrastBy Frank MaguireLast night we saw a clear contrast between goodness, love, and respect for God, our neighbor, and our nation, and hatred, anger, idolatry of partisan politics, and cynical hatred of our Nation. It could not have been clearer, watching the faces of Donald Trump and Mike Pence, and the petulant countenance of Nancy Pelosi and some of the other morbid "thumbs down" PROGRO Democrats.When President Trump talked about those law enforcement persons who were murdered by illegal alien criminals, and the beautiful wife of one murdered officer stood, the decent, loving American patriots stood and kept up a thunderous applause while the young woman wept, looked up to Heaven, praised God, and spoke to her husband who is with the Lord right now, Helen and I wept, wanting to wrap our arms around this wonderful lady who loves the Lord and her husband, as if she were one of our daughters.When our President improvised and told the weeping lady that her husband will go down in the pages of history in this good nation, and then almost as a comedy of relief told her that she and her dear husband had already set a record – referring to the length of loving applause, the beautiful woman smiled through her tears, and the applause increased.Continued: http://www.renewamerica.com/columns/maguire/170301
