A Florida man encased himself in concrete outside the Governorl's Mansion in the state
capital apparently to protest prison conditions related to Coronavirus.

A Tallahassee police spokesman says 28 year old Jordan Mazurek put PVC pipes horizontally into two 55-gallon plastic drums filled with concrete, with some sort of mechanism that locked his arms in place.

He was first spotted about 6 am Friday outside the fence surrounding the mansion and was eventually freed about 10:30 am.

The Tallahassee Democrat reported that one of Mazurek's drums was painted with the words, "Stop the massacre."  The other read, "Free the prisoners now.

CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office arrested a man for calling 911 and misusing it.

A Florida woman was arrested for allegedly beating her husband with a bouquet of Mother’s Day flowers, a report said.

Sandra Kay Webb, 32, flipped out early Monday morning after learning her husband bought the flowers that were given to her by her children, The Smoking Gun reported, citing police.

The arrangement angered Webb, according to an arrest affidavit.

The mother chucked the flowers at her husband while he was in bed and then hit him with them, the report says. ...

The Hotel ain't open yet, maybe by the end of the month.  I just called them to ask, and they said they could open the Hotel legally, but did not want to without the Casino.  Makes sense.  Besides, I'd have taken the 'Puter with me anyway.  Gotta keep an eye on youse guys.
