The headline uses the inflammatory word "Rams", while the text of the article says the car 'pushed through', implying a non catastrophic impact, but nudging the protestors aside until the vehicle could proceed. Neither injuries to protestors nor traffic charges against the driver were brought (or they'd be mentioned, I'm sure).
A couple other things: The ND House Bill which would have absolved drivers of liability (criminal or civil) for hitting a protestor or other person intentionally blocking a roadway, failed in the House. (Bummer, but it still keeps us a little more civilized than the protestors).
And WTF are Dakota Access Pipeline protestors doing protesting in L.A., anyway (fricking weather cowards?).
