Media Critic To CNN’s Stelter: You’re Borderline ‘Ridiculous Figure,’ Media Are At War to Take Trump 'Down'
Author and columnist Michael Wollf, who regularly contributes to USA Today and The Hollywood Reporter, said no one with credibility denies the liberal media are at war with President Donald Trump and want to take him "down," and added that CNN's senior media reporter Brian Stelter is a borderline "ridiculous figure" and the front page of the New York Times "looks like it's 1938 in Germany every day."
Wolff further said The New Yorker has dropped all of its journalism standards and is nothing more than a constant "opinion vehicle."
On the Feb. 5 edition of CNN's Reliable Sources, host Brian Stelter asked Michael Wolff, "You seem to think the media is also at war with Trump -- is that fair?" Wolff said, "absolutely," and "I don't think there would be anybody who would credibly disagree with this."
Stelter tried to disagree, saying "many journalists" are only trying to counter "lying and falsehoods." Wolff said this is "prepsterous" because "you can follow them on Twitter where they are having a very personal war with Donald Trump."
