So far, I think all the talk up about the half-time controversy was a publicity stunt to get people watching.

The only thing even slightly political she got into was singing America the Beautiful at the beginning with the drones making an American flag, and she did it respectfully.

Of course, we are just a couple of minutes in.

Well, Lady GaGa played it safe. Nothing controversial like they played it up, probably to boost ratings.

Pretty good singing, obviously not lip synced (several little missteps here and there one would expect with a live concert versus a fine tuned lip synced performance).

Overall, not bad.

She has a great voice, that's for sure. I used to really dislike her before I listened to her, thinking she was just hype. Then I heard her duets with Tony Bennett and she won me over.
