A more merciful sentence than he deserved.
A fit sentence, but an evil crazy person serving as his own attorney is a setup for a retrial.
Of course there are automatic appeals and all that crap. Best case he dies in 20 years.An obvious case of racism but the black Lives matter crowd have been silent. Strange. /s
The state can move pretty fast when it wants to - it zapped Tim McVey within 6 years. Somehow I think they'll be keen to expedite this one.

McVey's execution happened so quickly because he told his lawyers to stop all their motions of appeal. He said he wanted to die.
Some people just need dying. The sooner the better.
Given Roof's behavior so far in this trial, it wouldn't be surprising to see if he does the same.
