Priebus slams media for using unnamed sources in Russia hack coverage

Incoming White House Chief of Staff Reince Priebus criticized the media Sunday over recent reports that the CIA had concluded Russia tried to meddle in the United States presidential election to help President-elect Donald Trump win.
“The entire report is based on unnamed sources who are perhaps doing something they shouldn’t be doing by speaking to reporters or speaking out of line,” Priebus told ABC’s “This Week.”
Priebus also insisted the Republican National Committee (RNC) was not hacked.
“I know of no instance that you’re describing involving the RNC or the RNC’s data,” he said.
“We know where our data is stored, we do,” he added.
The New York Times reported last week that the RNC, which Priebus chairs, was also hacked by Russia, but information was not released.
