D'oh!
Your 'boys are pretty useless
when it comes to beating them godless Jersey Jints
Maybe it was them Godless Jersey Jints or whatever-- But for the first time, Dak looked like a rookie last night. Zek ran well when they used him, yet Dak's throws were not on target nor timely.
The defense played as well as could be expected and for the first time in a long time, it was not them that lost the game. It was the lack of an offense that hung last night's loss on my Boys--
A lot of Cowboys fans, though not me, have been saying that the team needed a loss to get them focused for the coming play offs. I don't rightly buy into that but I am going to hope it is the explanation instead of-- GASP-- Thinking the dreaded 'Rookie Wall' has risen up and smacked Dak right square between the horns of his noggin--
Tampa Bay is coming next week and they are on an upswing that may tell the tale.
If it is to be that Dak stumbles, remember that Tony awaits in the wings. His storybook role could be to come to the rescue, lead the Cowboys back to the promise land and retire in a blaze of glory.
Then Dak can get back on track a year older and wiser--
Well, that's my story this day and I'm sticking to it--
As long...

as the martinis last!
