In an interview conducted by The New York Times with president-elect Donald Trump, Trump confirmed the worst fears of conservatives, asserting that he’s less interested in executing conservatives principles than achieving high approval marks from the public.....http://www.dailywire.com/news/11044/trump-i-dont-care-about-doing-conservative-job-hank-berrien?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_content=062316-news&utm_campaign=benshapiro-share#.WDX4eWUyuFs.facebook
I'll be wary of what the press says, Rush pretty much proved this morning that the press was taking things Trump said out of context.
The press lies no more than Trump. So neither are trustworthy sources. This particular comment matches Trumps actions and character perfectly. He craves praise and worship. He wouldn't know a conservative principle if it bit him in the bum. Of course he cares about one and not the other. To think otherwise is to see only dreams while ignoring reality.
Not like we did not know Trump was going to rule as a NY Liberal Democrat. But few would listen. They insisted Trump was the MOST "Conservative candidate in the field".They are ALL liars.
Trump is an anomaly in the sense that he seems to take pride in lying. Here he is admitting (bragging) to Wolf Blitzer about lying about Rafael Cruz. www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Py66shufl0All I've got to say about Trump and those who have enabled him."The mills of God grind slowly, yet they grind exceeding small"
Gad, I'd forgotten about this. If you had posted this on 11/8 I would've stayed home.
Another campaign promise repudiated.
Did he say he was Conservative? I recall him telling us to go to hell. He had Bernie voters to drag him over the line.
In fairness, Trump never claimed he was a conservative. He's actually a Progressive Nationalist. It was his supporters that molded him into their personal conservative
Teddy Roosevelt reincarnate and certainly no hero.
