For Our Troops: 34,760 Pounds of Turkey

(CNSNews.com) - "As Americans prepare for the Thanksgiving holiday, just a reminder that around the world, our troops and DOD civilians are working to protect the nation," Pentagon spokesman Peter Cook told reporters at Tuesday's press briefing.

"And as you might expect, the Department of Defense is working to provide as joyous a holiday as possible for those personnel who can't be home with their families. That is no small task.
