I don't care what Hillary does advertising wise, or great organization or any other thing that she has some great advantages on, this is the story of the closing part of this campaign. First of all the FBI Director would not have reopened this if it wasn't very significant. Teneo has been exposed the last couple days as a company that basically had close ties set up to Clinton Foundation, what have you. My sense is this may very well have been where this vehicle took place, and what Declan Kelly, who was the leader of that organization when Chuck Grassley was sort of chasing him about the role of Huma, is they had all the former Emails, any Email that was a year old erased from their company computer, so my sense is she probably thought whatever she had on her computer was gone. I think this may have been the outside computer that she used at home or what have you, but I'm confident that everything that she was supposed to get from Hillary went through that computer and obviously he had access to it.

Lou: And the likelihood is great that there are a lot of Emails that perhaps Hillary Clinton and her associates in the Clinton Cartel, whether we're talking about the Foundation, the State Department, her own Campaign, they thought had been eliminated, that perhaps were not.

Sounds to me like Ed Rollins knows more than he is letting on. Here's more of Ed Rollins on Teneo. He knows it was dirty and in a sense he is dirty for having worked there.

Rollins: There were a lot of good people there and they do some good work, but at the end of the day the top of this organization was basically very much in bed in doing things. Equally important, Justen Cooper, who was one of the young aides who destroyed with a hammer, who broke up all the devices, was very much a part of that set that set the original server up, as a body person for former president Clinton. His legal fees have been paid by the Clinton's for the last several months. So I mean, to a certain extent, it's not clean. You've got to look at them before you get to the bottom of all this, so I think you will. There's a lot to unravel before it's done.

My take from listening to Ed Rollins is that he is having great difficulty in speaking in his usual straightforward manner, and is very very guardedly considering his sentences and mangling them in a strange, un-regular way. Wonder what and how much he really knows.

Why would Ed Rollins know anything?

If it takes as long as Rollins took to explain this, Hillary's safe.

I know you think I'm just anti-Trump, but a lot of this is baked into the cake.  Just as many of us who oppose Trump jumped offside thinking that the Access Hollywood tape would be the stake in the heart, so do many Republicans think this investigation  of Huma Abedin is going to kill Hillary.

It won't and, I think, will die out a lot faster than Access Hollywood.

    To all:

    This morning I sent a letter to Congress in connection with the Secretary Clinton email investigation. Yesterday, the investigative team briefed me on their recommendation with respect to seeking access to emails that have recently been found in an unrelated case. Because those emails appear to be pertinent to our investigation, I agreed that we should take appropriate steps to obtain and review them.

    Of course, we don’t ordinarily tell Congress about ongoing investigations, but here I feel an obligation to do so given that I testified repeatedly in recent months that our investigation was completed. I also think it would be misleading to the American people were we not to supplement the record. At the same time, however, given that we don’t know the significance of this newly discovered collection of emails, I don’t want to create a misleading impression. In trying to strike that balance, in a brief letter and in the middle of an election season, there is significant risk of being misunderstood, but I wanted you to hear directly from me about it.

And if he's saying "appear to be pertinent" in public (or semi-public), I think it implies that the investigative team told him something pretty big.  Why else would he stir up this hornet nest at this point in the campaign?

I'm still trying to get my head around the possible reasons....

hillary in her statement reveals she doesn't know what they have. She is worried. She urges people to get out and vote EARLY. With the news ACA rates are increasing up to 25% that hurts her too. She isn't having a good time right now.

OK, this is the Clinton machine we're talking about, so they may be telling the barest of bare truth that these are "duplicates" of something the FBI had seen.  But duplicates of what?

One would think that if they're "duplicates" of stuff the FBI has already seen, then they wouldn't justify re-opening the investigation, having already been cleared by them, supposedly.  But Comey is re-opening the investigation, so there's something different about these "duplicates."  Some new information that was not included in the original investigation.

Which makes me wonder.  Maybe they were duplicates of emails that were kept out of view due to an immunity deal.  For example, suppose in the FBI's immunity deal they agreed not to use any emails found on Cheryl Mills' computer.  But if they were found on Anthony Wiener's computer, and also on Huma's computer.... then they're not covered by the deal.

Something like that....

It's hard to think the FBI would be so inept that they would stir this up over "duplicates", sounds like a tall tale to me, sounds like damage control.

I think his career is over, regardless.  His behavior in the denouement of the original investigation has damaged his reputation for "scrupulous honesty," to the point where I think he is no longer trusted.  For now, he's hanging on to the end of Obama's term, and that'll be the end of it.

So they're not "from Clinton?"  OK -- but they're pertinent to the investigation and important enough to announce before the election.  And other stories have it that Huma Abedin was involved, and likely to have sent things to her own and Wiener's account so that she could print them out for Hillary Clinton.
