To me? I thought it was pretty despicable, but given what I know of New York / New Jersey, this sort of thing is the normal way of doing business. Those are pretty hard nose and corrupt towns, and boy scouts don't survive long in that environment.

If you are going to compare Apples to Apples, you are going to have to bring an Apple. Give me an example of Trump committing a known and serious illegality, such as is comparable with what Hillary has done numerous times.
