Yep, they're all liars.  Every single one of them.  I heard on the radio there are six pages of accusations against Trump, and not a one of them is true.

Because Trump is pure and virtuous, except for that one lie he told when he admitted that he likes to grab crotches.

Because his supporters are idiots?

Seriously: Trump's disastrous behavior as the nominee, was predictable and predicted.  A lot of people fell for a lot of hooey, and now, because of his primary voters, Hillary Clinton is going to be president.
No deplorables, enjoy President Hillary, better stock up on some real strong sunscreen.

But what about the pink strappy heels?

Well, I'm sure you can tell us all about that, as though anyone wanted to know.

War's over, Wormer dropped the big one.  Trumpsters think they're Bluto, but they're really Chip.

I have to get mine custom made. My dainty size 12 feet are hard to accommodate at the stripperware store.

Ditto dear friend. This whole election has me so depressed I don't think ice cream will help. Or anything anymore, even kitties and puppies. I'm sick at heart.

@Freya, all we can do is accept the reality that Hillary is going to win this thing and try to take a little enjoyment in black humor when we can find it.  If Trump is crushed thoroughly enough, it might keep some of his supporters from turning him into a martyr and trying to resurrect him four years from now.  Then we might have a chance at actually electing someone decent.

I'm afraid there will be another Ross Perot or Donald Trump running in 2020.

"Hey Barry? Yea it's me, listen, we're gonna run a guy on the GOP ticket that signed abortion laws, profited from them, fathered gay marriage in America and created your healthcare program. Whadda you wanna bet that they vote for him in droves in the name of their Bibles and conservative 'principles?'...Yes I'm serious!...No there's no chance in hell it'll backfire, trust me. "

2015:

Hey Hillary, yea it's me. Listen, Bill has your fall guy set to go. Ready for this one? It's Trump!... No, I'm not kidding... Take a min. to catch your breath...You OK?...Yea I probably should have had you sit down before telling you. Just get that head wound fixed...Actually don't, we can make a Biblical issue out of it if we need to. Anyway, yes I'm serious. Half the damn country voted for the last Republican suicide bomber didn't they? You know how they buy that 'most important election EVAH!! bullshit we feed them every two years. How do you think we got Bhoner and Turtleboy back in after they gave your old boss the store?

Look, he could kill someone on Wall Street in broad daylight and they'd vote for any idiot that isn't you. Come to think of it, we ought to have him say that. They like shiny objects. But anyway, don't worry about it. We've been doing this routine since that damn actor went back to Cali and they never catch on. They arent that bright. Just scared little kids playing grown up. We'll play to that with a big kid their pea brains can relate to. Besides, we destroy him in the process and you can divide up his assets. The tower will make a good home for the Foundation and Bill will be close to the best escorts so you and Huma can get some quiet time without his whores barging in at all hours."

2020:

Hi Hill, Yea we got the deal set. Gore switched parties last year in case we went that route and the paperwork is filed...

In most instances, most elections, the premise of your question would be totally valid.  Most, not all.  Not this one.  Trump has revealed himself for all to see, to those willing to see.  From this morning, this cup of coffee, I see.

You can almost guarantee it as long as us conservatives fail to present a clear and compelling reason to support conservatism.

Yes, you're probably right.  Hope springs eternal, I guess...at least a sliver of it.  Even if it's likely in vain.

But we had it.  We had the chance.  We had at least a dozen deep-thinkers on that stage (well, two stages) who resided somewhere right of center on the political spectrum.  Perhaps none defined you exactly, or me exactly, but can you imagine the discourse had it been allowed to flourish?  But, from the very first question of the very first debate, the oxygen was sucked out of the room.  And too many bought it, reveled in it.  And the destruction began.

Ok, there's a mental image that is going to be hard to wash out...

Hey if voting for a guy that gropes women as a right is an act of conservatism, than by God so is a 6 foot dude in pink strappy heels!

Sounds like a Brownshirt threat.  Is it?

The thing that kills me about this whole Trump thing is that he was never a very compelling con man. He's not a smooth talker. He's not an effective liar. His Republican primary debate performance consisted entirely of standing there with this faux tough-guy look on his face, repeating low-brow slogans, and calling the other candidates childish names. He was and is so transparently full of sh*t that I am just baffled how even the most mentally deficient person could be fooled by him. The only explanation I can come up with is that there was so much pent-up frustration from years of things not going their way, that people were willing to ignore the obvious, and substitute their wishes for reality.

The leftist plants and people that were never conservative to begin with, the religion opponents...pretty much the whole anti-so-con wing of the GOP saw the chance to rid itself of those they hate. They have long resented Reagan and his supporters and wanted us gone so they can go along / get along with the Dems openly/officially because many are literally dems planted there for just that reason.

Yes there are the simple moron types but I think they are a small minority. Most Trumpists are outright liberals as shown by their actions and just advancing their agenda.

That is what it is. The fact that he wasn't a career politician. Everything else about him is excusable.
