Poll: Clinton leads Trump by 6 points in battleground Florida

Hillary Clinton leads Donald Trump by 6 points in the swing state of Florida, a new poll released Thursday shows.
Among likely voters in Florida, Clinton leads Trump 49 percent to 43 percent, with another 7 percent undecided, according to the survey conducted by the Florida Atlantic University Business and Economics Polling Initiative.
The Democratic presidential nominee continues to dominate Trump, the Republican nominee, among Hispanic voters, with 52 percent supporting Clinton and 33 percent backing Trump.
Among female voters, Clinton leads Trump 51 percent to 43 percent, with 7 percent undecided.
"Mr. Trump continues to trail sharply among women and minorities and those numbers point to a loss in Florida barring a significant late improvement," said Kevin Wagner, a research fellow with the polling initiative.
Two Florida polls — one of 400 likely voters and one of 400 Hispanic voters — were conducted Oct. 5–9 online and both have a margin of error of 4.9 percentage points.
Clinton has a 3.2-point lead over Trump, 46.6 percent to 43.4 percent, in Florida, according to a RealClearPolitics polling average.
Both the Clinton and Trump campaigns consider Florida a must-win in November.
Obama carried the state in 2008 and 2012.
"We need your help. Florida is the key," Clinton said in an interview with a Miami radio station earlier this week.
“If we win Florida, there’s no way my opponent can win."
